Joseph Hill "Joss" Whedon ( født 23. juni 1964) er en amerikansk manusforfatter, produsent, regissør, komponist og skuespiller, og grunnlegger av Mutant Enemy Productions. Han er best kjent som skaper og produsent av tv-seriene Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1997–2003), Angel (1999–2004), Firefly (2002) og Dollhouse (2009–2010).
