Trådtittelen er en strofe fra den skotske folkevisen "The Bonnie Banks o' Loch Lomond", som har blitt tolket til å handle om Jakobitt-opprøret i Skottland i 1745. Loch Lomond er den største innsjøen i Storbritannia
