Trådtittelen er et sitat fra Saddam Hussein under Gulfkrigen i 1991, som han gjentok i flere taler. Det arabiske uttrykket Umm al-Ma'arik er ofte brukt i Midt-Østen for å beskrive store og imponerende ting og hendelser, men var før Gulfkrigen ikke velkjent i Vesten.
